A Commitment to a Sustainable Future

The City of San Diego’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) takes bold steps toward a more sustainable place to live, work and play. Addressing Inequities in EV
Access

While San Diego ranks among the top five metropolitan areas for EV sales nationally, EV adoption within the City is disproportionately lower in historically disadvantaged communities. The Public EV Charging Program will help address community needs where charging at home is not feasible and create a connected, accessible and reliable EV charging network in all areas of San Diego.
