The City of San Diego’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) takes bold steps toward a more sustainable place to live, work and play. The CAP establishes a community-wide goal of net zero by 2035, committing San Diego to reducing transportation emissions by significantly expanding the availability of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the City. EVerged is excited to be partnered with the City of San Diego to provide EV charging access to communities across the City.

Free EV Charging Across San Diego

This May, we're helping San Diego breathe a little easier. In honor of Clean Air Month, Everged is offering free EV charging during May at select public locations.

How to Charge Your Electric Vehicle

Drivers can easily charge their vehicles using the Everged Charging mobile app or with a credit card.

Mobile Phone

  1. Download the EVerged Charging mobile application from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Create an account and add a payment method.
  3. Scan the EV charger’s QR code.
  4. Plug in your vehicle to start charging.
  5. End your charging session by selecting "End Session" in the app. 
Credit card, Lock

Credit Card

  1. Tap or insert your card.
  2. Select your charging port.
  3. Plug in your vehicle to start charging.
  4. To end your charging session, unplug the connector.
